Commander Justin Graves, born August 31st 2380 in San Francisco. Joined Starfleet Academy in 2398 and graduated top of his class in 2402. Service record 72289. Justin Graves states his first tour of duty was aboard the U.S.S. Lisbon - D under the Command of Captain Lorin Viskk.

During a unprovoked attack on the Lisbon by Klingon Forces, a primary power conduit ruptured and the console Lt. Graves was stationed at blew with him directly in front of it. This resulted in his lose of sight. Given the options of the visor or prosthetic replacements, Lt Graves chose to honer his long time engineering idol Captain Geordi Laforge from the Captain's service days as Chief Engineer aboard the U.S.S Enterprise-D and chose to wear the visor.

After being transferred to the U.S.S. Trident, Lt. Graves received a field promotion to acting captain and the rank of Commander on Stardate 88643.7 for his commanding skills in battle with the Romulans after the Ship's lose of her captain and her first officer.
